Chosen to be one of the first colonizers on Mars, a young woman must face the reality of leaving her home planet for good.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Jamie is a 4th year Film Production student at the University of British Columbia. Her thesis film, “Inner Space” is her first produced short that she wrote and directed. Other credits include Naked Cinema V: Exposed as a co-director, cinematographer for Caid Dow’s short comedy It’s A Boy, and producer for Chelsea Xinyi Chen’s short drama Reverie.
An aspiring writer-director, Jamie is also an alumni of the Arts Club’s LEAP Playwriting Intensive and VACT’s MSG Lab. She hopes to travel the world working in writing rooms and directing for the screen.

Jenny Lee-Gilmore is a 4th year BFA Film Production student. Jenny has written and directed her first short film “Breakaway” as well as continuing her work in producing and production design. She also has interests in gender and critical race studies and aims to reflect that in her films. After graduation Jenny hopes to continue writing and directing and to hone her skills in production design.
After graduating high school while interning at a production company in Washington, Luke Strahm came to Vancouver to pursue Film Production at UBC. With a passion for cinematography and a background in motion graphics, Luke is working on short films, music videos and commercials in Vancouver as a DoP.
