Leah has been hired to takes promotional photos for a ballet company an old friend is a part of. As the days unfolds tension arises among the dancers and particularly between Leah’s friend Anna, the lead dancer, and Jules, the choreographer. As Leah pays more attention to the pictures, she will realize that the bruises on Anna’s body have an origin: Jules abusive and controlling behavior.
Born in a Spanish/Caribbean family and raised in France, Eloane Venkatapen is a filmmaker inspired by French Cinema and European art. She is especially drawn to the beauty of cultural diversity and languages.
Upon graduating from the Film Production Program at UBC, Eloane aspires to tell stories about societal, cultural and environmental issues with particular interest in gender studies and multiculturalism.
