THE LEFT BEHIND
Eric, a 10-year-old boy, has just buried his father. As the last of the funeral-goers filter out of his house, his mother and homeschool teacher, Elaine, falls into a deep grief that puts distance between her and Eric. He has become fixated on a strange trunk that Elaine stores his fathers’ belongings in. Eric is wrought by strange noises and nightmares that prevent him from sleeping as the trunk and his fathers untimely demise create a twisted home life.
James Ryan is a writer/director and an aspiring production designer/art director from Toronto, Ontario. He is in his fourth year in the Film Production program at UBC. His interest in the style of genre movies and film design lead him to pursue a career in the art department with a goal to also direct genre passion-projects.

Bruno Martin del Campo is an aspiring cinematographer born and raised in Mexico City, where the city’s culture, chaos and monstrous size has made him seek imagery with character and relevance. Hungry for knowledge, Bruno aspires to learn and experiment something new on each project he takes on.
Upon graduation he aspires to continue to grow his knowledge and practice with excellence the art of cinematography in Vancouver. Bruno still finds it uncomfortable to talk about himself in third person.
